Hollywood Santa Parade Press Conference

We are proud to announce that we are the official charity sponsor for the 2007 Hollywood Santa Parade. The United States Entertainment Force has joined forces with the City of Los Angeles to help fill the holidays with joy this year by bringing the parade back to the streets of Hollywood. The star studded event is bringing to the route such celebrities as Taylor Atelian, Ashley Benson, Shelley Berman, City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo, Tommy Lasorda just to name a few.

Bob Barker and Jerry PayneWe hope that everyone gets a chance to come out and bring the family to this event if you are in town to help us celebrate the holiday season. Remember to be thankful for what we have and our prayers are going out to the troops that are not able to be home with loved ones. “We are delighted to announce that Hollywood’s traditional holiday parade will once again march down Hollywood Boulevard on Sunday, November 25th. Hollywood Santa Parade will honor the festive spirit of its predecessor, the Hollywood Christmas Parade.

Here we have a photo of Jerry Payne and Bob Barker at the official press conference. Despite putting down his trademark microphone for the last time, legendary game show host Bob Barker is coming out of retirement to host one of Hollywood’s longest-standing traditions. He is the official Grand Marshal of this year’s Hollywood Santa Parade. Barker was quoted as saying “In November of 1950, my wife and I walked half a block to watch our first Hollywood Christmas Parade,” he said. “And now, for me to have a star on Hollywood Boulevard and be the grand marshal of the parade is a real thrill. I’m flattered to be invited.”

We look forward to seeing Bob’s familiar face along the route this year to help keep the Southern California tradition alive by ringing in another holiday season for southlanders.
