Support Your Favorint Charity, Why?

When someone has a passion for doing something they care about very much, they usually start their own Non Profit. It should always be for a cause that can effect the lives of those they have chosen to serve. My self being with the USO and producing USO Shows, showed me that I really enjoy doing what I do and I should do my own so that I can control the direction the organization will take. Well when you do that you put yoursefl in the business of asking for help and getting others to believe in your cause. With the strategy of multi deployments of our Troops and with the Nation Guard being called up, there is a lot of holes to fill from what the Government is doing with its programs, ie the Veterans Administration. I go to alot of meetings with the Guard, the VA, and other organizaions and they want us there to help do what they can not do. There is a real connection between the Government agency’s and non profits. Therefore we have to ask for donations and for others to get involved with what we are doing and those we are helping. The number of lives the USEF has effected is in the 100 of thousands and we need to continue to be there and become bigger so we can help more. When we ask for donations there is a reason for it and a huge need. The USEF has been involved in helping families whose Spouse is deployed and their life has been turned upside down. We step in to make sure they have food, clothes for the children, counseling for those who need, and we must keep a roof over their head. This is just one of the groups we help and the others have similiar problems unless you are dealing with homeless Veterans on the street. Making sure you are there when a soldier in depression gets ahold of you and you are the last person he or she is going to talk to if you don’t get it right or if you are not there to help them. We want to be there and we have been there but it will always take help from others but the work we do is so important and we are proud of what we have accomplished.
