Why Art and Film To Help Children in Crisis

Why Art and Film to help our Children in Crisis. I have found during all of my years of working with children and their families that one of the first emotions to go during stress and crisis to a family is trust. Trust is a slippery emotion and in order to build that trust you must stop the sliding of this important mental strength. How do you do this?  Well after many studies it was clear that Film and Art has the history of being a trust builder. When you form a movie cast and crew, they are all focused on the mission of making the best movie and it takes all to contribute to the success. This creates a comradere which is unique to movie making. There is magic in the Arts and we have seen it all through history.
