Why are Charities Needed

July 19th, 2009  •  Posted by Jerry Payne  •  2 Comments

For a long time the Goverment has acted like they have all of the issues covered when it comes to our returning Veterans. However with the multi deployments and time away from family there are more getting out then expected. This has put a real lot of pressure for the VA to take care of all of the problems. Big problems like with mental issues from all of the bombs going off so close to our soldiers and marines with the IUD’s. That and so many other issues are bothering those who are coming home. Why should they not be hurting from what they have had to go through. We as a nation must be here for them. We must get the information to them as to what is available for them through their benefits. What we have found is that when a service member leaves the service they are taken care of. But when they get home and start to feel the pains of war, they then do not get the attention that they need. There comes in the need for Charities to fill the gap and do the very best job you can in making things right for the returning Vet.
